I am fond of long walks, long conversations, yoga, manga/manhwa, cooking, and exploring new cuisines and cultures. I am also a long-time fan of the Super Smash Bros. series and Magic: The Gathering.
I grew up in Carrollton, TX, where I attended both Ranchview High School and Creekview High School. Carrollton is a beautiful and diverse city, situated right at the intersection of big Korean, Hispanic, and Indian communities. The city also has a lot of greenspace and is well-suited for walks. Definitely check it out if you get the chance!
I am an alumnus of the Ross Mathematics Program, a high school summer program that teaches kids about number theory and proof writing. I highly recommend this and related programs (e.g., PROMYS) if you want to get a taste for what pure math is all about. Counselor positions are also open to those in university or graduate school, so you should check that out if you are interested in giving back and working with bright young people.
